“How do you cross the Connecticut River? For some Connecticut travelers, they enjoy a scenic and historic passage thanks to the Rocky Hill-Glastonbury Ferry. Hailed as the oldest continuously operating ferry in the United States, the Ferry is used by passenger vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. Powered by a tug boat (the Cumberland), the flatboat (the Hollister III) takes vehicles three at a time on a fast, but beautiful journey at a reasonable price.
